Santorini
Santorini in September is perfect. The crowds are fewer and the weather is still fantastic. Although the island is small there are so many different towns which have a completely different feeling. We spent most of our time along the popular north-east coast, between Fira and Oia. We also visited Perissa, where the island’s most popular black sand beaches can be found, and Emporio, a medieval village in the mountains with a venetian castle and winding alleys. A few things to not miss: the hike between Fira - Oia (with stops in Imerovigli, Finikia and Perivolas), the blue domes in Oia, Svoronos Bakery.
